Ver’s Cookbook: From Our Kitchen To Yours
In high school, my husband and his friends loved playing street hockey. To them, ‘Wenzel’ didn’t sound like a satisfactory hockey name, so he was dubbed ‘Verwenzelcheck’ by his buddies. Over time, Verwenzelcheck was shortened to ‘Ver’ and the name stuck, permanently, it seems. Many of his friends barely remember his real name anymore, so when he began creating his recipes, he wrote a cookbook which he called Ver’s Cookbook.
Ver’s recipes have graced our tables and many others. He’s spent hours on recipe development, adjusting and refining his methods and ingredients, and I’ve been the lucky taste tester. Now, we share these dishes with love and hope your family enjoys these as much as we do.
