Building Core Memories: Cherish Time with Your Grandchildren
From passing down family traditions and favorite recipes to teaching life skills and celebrating holidays together, every shared experience with your grandchildren is a chance to connect across generations. When my daughter and her husband decided to rent out our basement, I was delighted with the opportunity to build a solid relationship with my grandkids. Together, we cook, garden, do creative learning activities, make crafts, and incorporate plenty of hands-on learning.
Whether you’re giggling together over simple toddler activities, exploring the outdoors, or snuggling up for story time, these joyful moments build strong, lasting relationships. I wanted to share some of the toddler and preschool activities I use to inspire others to build fun, meaningful connections that help shape your grandchild’s world, and fill your heart with love. These are also powerful ways to share your wisdom, values, and love. Let’s make every moment count!
